What Is Your Blog All About?

My blog is all about stuff that turns you off! I kid. It's about my life in general and a little bit of everything through my lens. :)
When And How did you start Blogging?

I started this blog in mid-2007. Ralph set up an account for me and suggested I blog as I really like to press buttons on a computer and I've always enjoyed writing. So I signed up and have been blogging and reading blogs since then and still enjoying it very much. Funny how addictive it can be, huh!

Blogs I Like (Characteristics)

I like blogs that are well-written in an honest voice, dynamic, interesting and somewhat like my own, that are maintained by positive thinking individuals. Oh, filling your blog with stunning pictures will make me spend an extra minute on your site too! :D

Blogs I Dislike (Characteristics)

I'm not a big fan of weird blogs. Reading blogs with no paragraphs, no line breaks, just a giant brick of words and clutter with too many advertisements and buttons feels like a chore. Also, I can't recall how many times I was interested in a post but gave up reading it because the colors and layout was too much for my poor eyes.
What Motivates you to Blog?

Passion is what motivates me and to see my readers coming back for more again and again after their initial visit is a real motivator. The interactions in the blogosphere and with readers keep me writing even when I go through blogging ‘dry spells’.

Who Are your Target Readers?
Readers from all walks of life.

What is Your Most Favorite post and Why?
Hmmm...Weird thing is that I don't actually have a favorite post. I love all my posts in general. :P

Things We Should Expect from your Blog these succeeding months
I will try to produce contents that add value to the lives of my readers.
Tips For Our Readers About Blogging
Don't expect success without promoting. Even if you've great content you'll need to work your butt off getting people to visit your blog and read it. Don't update your blog 20 times a day. You'll look desperate and lose your subscribers. Don't insult your readers by posting content that's full of errors, or has broken sentences. When writing your blog entries, think of what you would want to read on someone else’s blog and what would keep you coming back for more. :)

Thank you so much Monica
for allowing me to feature your very interesting blog. Please do take this "Excellent Site Award" as a matter of appreciation.

TOP FIVE MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIES ABOUT DOGS

Listed below are my personal picks of inspiring movies about dogs. Again, they are real dogs so don't expect to see Scooby Doo, Pluto, or Bolt here hehe. If you haven't watched the film, then i strongly suggest that you should (after all we can watch old movies online now just in case you can't find them in a video store). So if you're looking for some tear jerking movies, check my personal list of
TOP FIVE MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIES ABOUT DOGS

TOP 5 MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE ABOUT DOG
"LASSIE"

If I will base this category as "most popular movies about dogs", then Lassie is definitely a top spotter. With Eleven movies (including the 2005 version), radio show (1447-1950) and a hit tv series, no doubt Lassie has been a part of the viewer's heart. The story is about a family who hits financial crisis, and they have no choice but to sell Lassie. Hundreds of miles away from home, Lassie sets out in a thrilling adventure to reclaim what is hers — her family. I think the story of Lassie has been an inspiration to many Dog movies like "Bingo" and "Beethoven"

TOP 4 MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE ABOUT DOG
"MY DOG SKIP"

"My Dog Skip" is the story about nine-year-old Willie Morris growing up in Yazoo City, Mississippi, a tale of a boy and his dog in a small, sleepy Southern town that teaches us about family, friendship, love, devotion and bravery. Willie and Skip's relationship goes beyond that of owner and dog, but is a relationship recognized and celebrated by the entire town. Remember the farewell scene in Toy Story 3? It actually reminds me of this film. It is so heart breaking especially the ending part. Whoa i cried honestly.

TOP 3 MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE ABOUT DOG
"MARLEY AND ME"

Based the memoir of the same name by John Grogan. Well, i'm not a big fan of Owen Wilson until I've watched this film. The story is about a couple who adopted a dog to test themselves if they are ready to raise a family. They consider Marley as the World's worst dog, destroying everything around their house. The saddest part of this film is when they decided to euthanized Marley because the dog will not be able to survive another surgery.

TOP 2 MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE ABOUT DOG
"OLD YELLER"

Old Yeller is the story of a boy and his dog. It is also one of the saddest movies ever made. Old Yeller is Travis Coates’ best friend, and earns the Coates’ family’s love when he fights off a bear and a wolf. It is impossible not to love a dog as heroic as that. Unfortunately Yeller develops rabies from a wolf bite and Travis is forced to put his dog down. This is the old days, so there were no vets to do a proper euthanasia. This means Travis has to shoot his own dog. A very sad moment.

THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL MOVIE ABOUT DOG
"HACHI"

For me, nothing can be better than the story of Hachi and his amazing loyalty to his master. Imagine, for 9 consecutive years, Hachi waited for his owner. Hachiko continued to meet the 3:00 train every day, hoping his beloved master, to whom he was so devoted, would return. The film was based on true story too.

What Kind of Diet Are You In?

Are you following a certain diet plan? How does it work for you? Is it really effective or not? Well, there are thousands of diet plan to choose from but not all of them will work effectively. Some of them are healthy diet while others are nothing but a way of starving yourself. To be honest, i am on a diet too but unfortunately, i am a type of guy who can't stick to a specific diet plan and I tend to ruin my entire plan simply because i can easily be tempted. Oh well, foods are just so tempting and it's so damn hard to get rid of them.
Right now i'm trying this so called "oat meal" diet but i'm not sure if i can survive this one LOL. I eat nothing but oat meal every breakfast and instead of using sugar, i mix it with honey instead. Then i eat fruits a lot (apples in particular because they are very effective to suppress your appetite). Think it's healthy? Nope it's not because i have to eat the same meal for lunch (oh God where's my Balut?). Fibers are good but i have to make it balance! I need protein too that's why i eat meat for supper (thank God, no more oat meal for dinner) but if you have shaker bottle at home, you can make protein shakes or smoothie too.
My goal here is not just to lose weight but also to keep rice out of my diet. Don't worry, this is not a long term diet (and i can't take eating oat meal forever) according to that diet plan, i only have to do this for 2 consecutive weeks. It's been a week now (a week without rice? Yay! what an achievement). Wish me luck!
