BLOG IDOL ROUND 4 : MOTOWN WEEK

Yay! The Heat Is on for our Quarter Finals which begins Today!
I'm not really sure if all of you guys are familiar with theme that we have for this week but this is really special to me since I grew up listening in such kind of music.
Motown played an important role in the racial integration of popular music, as it was the first record label owned by an African American to primarily feature African-American artists who achieved crossover success. In the 1960s, Motown and its soul-based subsidiaries were the most successful proponents of what came to be known as The Motown Sound, a style of soul music with a distinct pop influence.

4. Mai Yang picked another chart topper hit from the Jackson 5. It is also included in one of their first singles released by Motown along with ABC, The Love you Save and I'll be There. Here's
"I WANT YOU BACK"

5. Tom Sower submitted one of the most famous Duets of all time featuring two of Motown's biggest stars Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.

6. April Tarongoy chose a signature chart topper song from one of the Motown Legends, The Temptation. Here's
