"WALKING WITH DINOSAURS"

Walking With Dinosaurs is a 2013 3D  movie that follows a story of a dinosaur named Patchi who hatched among a herd of Pachyrhinosaurus. Patchi's runt status means he must use his wits rather than strength to compete for food with his larger brothers and sisters, particularly Scowler. After a terrible fire leaves Patchi, Scowler, and a female named Juniper on their own, the rivalry between the brothers escalates to a dangerous level. Patchi must summon his inner courage and strength to become the leader he was born to be.

"ICE AGE"

Ice Age is a series of animated films that follows a story of a group of mammals trying to survive the Paleolithic ice age. Although the  film focuses on mammals like Mammoths, prehistoric sloth and tigers, the group will have numerous encounter with different dinosaurs. There are currently four films under the Ice Age franchise and one currently in development. Not to mention the short films and television specials.

Dinosaur is 2000 is a 3D live-action/computer-animated science fiction adventure film by Disney that revolves around the story of Aladar (D.B. Sweeney), an iguanodon dinosaur raised by a family of lemurs. Their world is turned upside-down however, when meteors strike, turning their green world into a desert wasteland. Teaming up with a herd of other herbivores, the trek is on to find the "Nesting Ground" where water and vegetation is bountiful but they will encounter challenges along the way. The film was a financial success, grossing over $349 million worldwide in total box office revenue, becoming the fifth highest-grossing film of 2000. The film received mixed to positive reviews at the time of its release, with critics praising the visuals, but criticizing the writing, plot and characterization.

"THE LAND BEFORE TIME"

For those who grew up in late 80's or up to early 2000s should be aware what The Land Before Time is. It is a huge dinosaur animated franchise that expanded to twelve direct-to-video musical sequels. The films follow a friendship of a group of young dinosaurs, by the names of Littlefoot (Apatosaurus), Cera (Triceratops), Petrie (Pteranodon), Ducky (Saurolophus), and Spike (Stegosaurus). After finding The Great Valley, they raise a carnivourous baby, survive a drought, a cold snap, and witness a solar eclipse. Throughout all films, they embark upon adventures, learning lessons about life and friendship along the way.

Isn't predictable? There is no better dinosaur movie than Jurassic Park yet. The film is based on the 1990 novel of the same name which expanded to two more sequels and a reboot (Jurassic World). It initially follows a story of a group of paleontologists who just had a tour to an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA.  The terror begins when a ferocious predators managed to break free! Jurassic Park is considered by many to be one of the greatest films of all time, as well as a landmark in the development of computer-generated imagery and animatronic visual effects.

One reason behind MCU's success is when they managed to get the right formula for their movie and that is by perfectly blending  the action with humor. "WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE ~ CAPTAIN AMERICA"

If there is one guy in Avengers who can monitor the way you speak or communicate and correct you if you say something bad or wrong, that would be Captain America. As the leader of his team, it's not really surprising seeing him paying attention to his member's language. It was just fun joke about language at the start of the film where Captain America telling Iron Man to watch his language but the fact that it persisted through the entire film made it great! It is even more hilarious when every one else on the team poked fun about him even Nick Furry!

"NO ONE WOULD KNOW ~ HAWKEYE"

We all know that Hawkeye plays a very crucial role in Avengers : Age of Ultron compare to what he had on the first film. He had so many great moments in this film that made us love his witty character even more not to mention his surprising revelation about his personal life. One of the funniest scenes in the movie was Hawkeye and Quicksilver trying to one up each other. There was a scene where Hawkeye playfully said (while pointing his arrow to Quicksilver) "I could shoot him right now and no one would know. If they miss him and ask, I would just say, oh, last time I saw him, Ultron was sitting on him"

"BOOM, ARE YOU LOOKING FOR THIS? ~ JAMES RHODES"

There are two funny James Rhodes scenes I like on this film and they were both hilarious. First is when he attended the party and telling some of his extreme adventures to Tony Stark and Thor and ending it up with "Boom are you looking for this", hoping to get some cool response from the two instead, what he got is an awkward silence. He tell the same thing with other guess and they all laugh...maybe the joke was not really effective for the superheroes. Another funny scene from him is when he finally got his part during the Ultron fight. Some of Ultron's robots attempted to escape but before he show off his great skills and impress others, Vision swept them off in no time and all he can say is.. "Now what?" (disappointed)

"I'M SORRY ~ IRON MAN TO HULK"

Hulk vs the Hulkbuster is probably one the greatest scenes in the movie but it is also one of the funniest at some point especially when Iron man is trying to tame down the raging hulk by punching him repeatedly and taking advantage of his position why saying “Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep”, hoping that would this would tame the Hulk down. What makes it hilarious is when the Hulk loses a tooth and Iron Man gently say "I'm Sorry" and that moment was just priceless.

"HAMMER LIFT SCENE"

Nothing can be funnier than the Hammer Lift scene where Thor dared everyone to lift his hammer and see if they are truly worthy. From Hawekeye, to Bruce Banner, to Iron Man and to Captain America, they all tried their best but the moment Captain America attempted to lift the hammer and it barely moves, Thor's reaction was just priceless. The hammer thing brought another hilarious scene when Vision was able to lift it effortlessly and Thor was seemingly speechless about it. Another thing is during the last part of the movie when Captain America and Tony Stark argued if the hammer can be lifted by the elevator!

Interestingly, Jaya started her career in the US where she was given an opportunity to finish an album that was already started by another artist. Her Album "Jaya" was released in US in 1989 making Jaya the first Filipino artist to chart in the US through her single "If You Leave Me Now" which peaked at 44 at the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Her US career however, didn't do so well until 1996 where she was invited by Pilita Corales to record an album in the Philippines which also served as Jaya's turning point. Her 1996 album entitled "Jaya" made her a successful OPM singer. The album is composed of classic hits including "Dahil Tanging Ikaw". The album sold 280,000 copies.

Nina Live! is the third album of Nina which was released on February 2005. Initially, critics are in doubt whether the album will become a success or not because despite of Nina's incredible talent, showcasing cover songs is not really a wise idea for them. Surprisingly, the album was commercially successful and in fact it earned certified Platinum three weeks after its release. It was a rare feat at that moment considering that during that time, fewer people are purchasing compact discs and cassette tapes. The album remarkably sold 300,000 copies which made Nina Live!, the biggest selling by a local female artists of all time.

The album became a certified 4X platinum which makes it the fastest selling album in 90's. It is also considered as the biggest selling album by a local band of all time. It includes iconic songs like "Ang Huling El Bimbo", "Overdrive" and "Torpedo".

It was recognized as the Best Album in Awit awards the same year and also the first OPM album to reach Diamond status. Christmas In Our Hearts, on the other hand, became the first OPM album to surpass the Double Diamond status. Both album sold over 800,000 copies making them the biggest selling album of a local artist of all time.

"NANDITO AKO"

Surprised? Well, I actually felt the same way but technically, Thalia has the biggest selling album in the Philippines. She is not a local artist indeed but her album "Nandito Ako" is purely made for Filipinos. Nandito Ako is a song that is originally sung by Ogie Alcasid and was covered by many artists like Lea Salonga (1993), Sharon Cuneta (2006) and even David Archuleta (2012). But it was Thalia's version that makes it even more successful (commercially). The album was exclusively released in the country due to the success of her telenovelas including Marimar. The songs were recorded after her first major concert in the Philippines. Aside from Nandito Ako, it also features Tagalog version of  "Maria La Del Bario" (Mariang Taga Bario), "El Venao (Chika Lang), and Juana. She also made her own versions of the songs "Tell Me" and "Hey, It's Me" . The album , however, is not included in PARI as it is released prior to the time where they start giving certifications. It sold over 1 million copies.

For those who are looking for Regine Velasquez' "R2K", sorry but Wikipedia has some sort of discrepancy in terms of the records but upon checking the official PARI site (pari.com.ph), R2K's record that is stated on wiki site is somehow presented in an exaggerated way.  Regine Velasquez, however, holds the record for having the most number of best selling albums including the R2K, Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, Retro, Drawn, Regine Live and more.

They are invented by Dr Brief (father of Bulma) of Capsule Corporation. They are meant to make objects compact and easy to transport. Capsules can store items and buildings in an unimaginable size and shape.  It can transform itself into hovercars, an entire home, a vehicle, and a whole lot more.

Anyone who gathers seven magical crystal balls allow him to summon the Eternal Dragon Shenron who has the ability to grant wishes to anyone who collected the crystals with no limitations at all. You can request to resurrect a person or an entire community or people. Some are even aiming for it to grant them an extremely powerful abilities and immoralities.  You can even use it to erase someone's memory too. After the wishes were granted, the balls will be thrown to different directions again and this is the reason why you have to arm yourself with a radar to locate them.

Stephen King is undeniably one of the iconic writers of all time. He managed to publish 50 novels (including those masterpiece under the pen name Richard Bachman) and nearly 200 short stories.  Most of his works were adapted into movies (and comics too) and in fact he is considered as one of the most adapted authors in films along with other writers like Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Hans Christian Andersen, The Brothers Grimm and more. TOP 5 BEST STEPHEN KING MOVIE

"CARRIE"

I have watched the film several times and it's weird to say that I never get tired of it even though I know what's gonna happen if Carrie stand up on that stage. It's probably one of the most iconic Stephen King movies of all time and every scene is almost unforgettable even though the trailer actually made the film a little surprising. They said that Carrie's film adaptation is made way better than SK's book because it adds substance and style to it. Some of the best scenes in the movie includes the massacre in the gym hall where Carrie merely kills everyone. The moment where she kills her mom by telepathically moving kitchen knives is simply unforgettable. Oh and ending is quite a surprise too.

"THE SHINING"

"Here's comes Johnny!!" Well, who would forget that epic moment where Jack Torrence tried to kill his family. It is one iconic film indeed and the scene is being used in popular culture. The line also made it through our list of Top Five Most Remarkable Movie Lines. The film was highly embraced by critics praising Jack Nicholson for his very convincing performance as the psychopathic and evil possessed Jack Torrence. Stephen King, however is unhappy about Stanley Kubrick's film version as it made the main character less sympathetic and the ending was drastically changed as well.

"MISERY"

One of my personal favorites. I started admiring Kathy Bates after seeing her in this epic film adaptation of Stephen King's Misery. The story if about the writer Paul Sheldon who was saved by her ultimate fan Annie Wilkes. However, it turns out that Annie is more of a Psycho and a serial killer which made Sheldon's life a living hell. What I like about most Stephen King's movies is that they tend to scare not in a gory way. It makes you jump out of your chair due to some intense and suspense moments. One of the epic scene here is when Annie breaks Sheldon's ankles by smashing them with a mallet.. ouch!! Kathy Bates , by the way, won an Oscar from this film and it is a record breaking one because Oscars never paid attention to horror films but Bates gave a stunning performance that gave her an Oscar nod.

"THE GREEN MILE"

A Tom Hanks film directed by Frank Darabont and a derived from a Stephen king's novel? There's no doubt , this film is such a blast. I never thought that this film will make me cry and yeah I admitted that LOL. The characters were freaking awesome and they managed to deliver their roles very well and highly convincing. This is a three-hour film and I thought it will bore me to death but every single moment here is simply remarkable. The execution of John Coffey is such a heartbreaking scene and when Percy becomes mentally ill is such an overwhelming moment for me LOL.

"THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION"

What I like about this film is that it is very unpredictable (perhaps for me who haven't read the book yet). The character development is what I love the most. Remember when Prisoners was not really treated properly. They were treated very inhumanely until Andy started to make a move, changing the prison into an all new atmosphere where friendship and hope is possible. I also learned that Stephen King took Leo Tolstoy's "God Sees The Truth But Waits" as an inspiration that's why there are some sort of similarities. It happens to be one of my favorite short stories too (I remember myself playing Makar way back in high school). The revelation at the end of the film is such an epic moment that gives me goosebumps. Frank Darabont also directed this film along with other Stephen King movies like The Mists.

The Walking Dead Season 4 is about to end and we just can't wait to see the finale next week. The series has a total of four seasons with fifty-one episodes. We have seen different characters who managed to survive the apocalypse not because of luck but due to their exceptional skills in fighting. Some of these characters became notable because of their unique weapons too. Listed below are my personal picks of Five best weapons used in The Walking Dead Tv series.

Author's Note : Just a quick note, I EXCLUDED all GUNS in this lists. We are looking for some badass weapons here and I personally think guns should not be included. First of all , I am not a big fan of them and second, it doesn't have any cool factor for me at all. Equipping yourself with gun is such a common thing but arming yourself with a very unusual weapon makes you even cooler. So let's start listing shall we?

TOP 5 BEST WEAPON USED IN THE WALKING DEAD

"MERLE'S IMPROVISED HAND BLADE"

After amputating his own hand, Merle Dixon later replaced it with a metal sleeve with an attachment for a bayonet. He is deadly with firearms by default but in the third season, his hand-blade attachment proves to be one of his deadliest weapons. In addition to that, Merle was also the first one to fend off Michonne's sword attacks using his hand-blade. Merle is also an experienced bruiser and it was shown in numerous episodes and his hand-blade gave him bigger advantage.

"MARTINEZ BASEBALL BAT"

Too bad Martinez's character wasn't really focused that much in the series compare to what he had in the comics but his exceptional combat skills were greatly emphasized. His signature weapon is his baseball bat with engraved words saying "Eat Me". Smashing walkers using his bat makes him such a badass. However, his bat is nothing to compare with Lucille ( a baseball bat covered with barb wires and walker guts) which is used by Negan in the comics. It is also the bat that killed Glenn.

"TYREESE' HAMMER"

If you are in a world overrun by zombies, I'm sure the first weapon that you want yourself to be equipped with is a gun. In this way, you can shoot the zombies and kill them immediately before they can even approach you. Tyreese , on the other hand, is not a fan of guns and he favored using Hammer instead. Well, the advantage of having melee weapons in this kind of situation is that it doesn't create any loud sound which usually attracts more walkers. 

TOP 2 BEST WEAPON USED IN THE WALKING DEAD

"DARYL'S CROSSBOW"

It is a long ranged weapon and the arrows are executed quietly. This is the reason why Cross bow is such an effective weapon in this kind of world. Of course, you need a good and accurate shooting skill to use this weapon more effectively. The ammunition however is limited and you must be brave enough to retrieve your arrows from the zombies that you have killed. By the way, Daryl's Cross bow is technically identified as Stryker Strykezone 380.

"MICHONNE'S KATANA"

Nothing can be stronger than Michonne's Katana as far as the melee combat is concerned. What makes it even more cooler is the fact that is it being wield by a woman. Michonne's Katana. The Katana is mainly used by Michonne as it is her signature weapon. Michonne is seen cutting up and chopping off parts of a zombie in just a matter of seconds.

Even before grabbing the role of being the new Dyesebel in the upcoming series of ABS-CBN, Anne Curtis already played a mermaid role in one of her iconic series ~ Dyosa. Well, Dyosa Agua is only one of her three forms alongside with Dyosa Cielo (winged form) and Dyosa Tierra (centaur-like form). The story is about a girl named Josephine Cruz who discovers that she has the power of earth , wind and water. In order to fulfill her destiny, the goddess must balance out the forces between the Kabanwas and the Kasamyans so that she can save the humankind from evil. When Josephine transforms into Dyosa Agua, it gives her the ability to swim gracefully under the sea and also to manipulate water to form powerful whirlpools against the enemies.

"ARYANA"

Aryana is probably the most modern mermaid you could ever find. It tells as story of a young girl who struggles in the awkward yet exciting adolescence stage while trying to escape her inevitable as  mermaid in her fourteenth birthday. It all started when Neptuna's daughter get killed and as  revenge, she cursed Ofelia and Victor (Aryan's parents) to feel the intense pain and sorrow of losing their own beloved daughter. Neptuna stole Aryana but she realized that she cannot make Aryana a complete mermaid unless her mother gave her willingly.  An agreement was made between the two then when Aryana turns 14, Neptuna will get her back. Unlike the typical mermaid series, the target audience of Aryana are tweens. Aryana is torn between choosing the sea where she belongs and the surface world of humans where her heart belongs.

"MUTYA"

Mutya is the youngest mermaid in our list and probably the cutest of them all. Unlike the other mermaid series, Mutya was born with her legs attached together which was first mistaken an unknown disability. Unfortunately for Mutya, her grandmother didn't embraced her condition and was horrified by it instead. She hired someone to take the poor Mutya away from her mother. Mutya didn't realized that she is a mermaid until her scales began to developed. Mutya was well accepted by the viewers and constantly getting a high rating compare to its rival shows and due to her superb acting skills, Mutya was nominated for being the best new female tv personality and the best tv child performer in different award bodies.

"MARINA"

Marina is indeed one of the most memorable mermaids and mos memorable fantaserye in Philippine television history. First of all, Marina is considered as the first ever Fantaserye on TV and also the first mermaid featured in a tv series. Basically, she is the one that started it all.  The series was highly acclaimed and it won several recognition including the Best Drama series of PMPC and Outstanding Drama series by CMMA. In fact due to the high public demand, the series was replayed on TV four years after. This is also the series that gave Claudine Barretto the title of being the Optimum Teleserye Queen.

Dyesebel is probably the most iconic mermaid ever maid in Philippine history. Prior to Marian Rivera's tv series, the mermaid was already adapted from comics to numerous films and has been portrayed by various artists including Vilma Santos, Alma Moreno, Alice Dixon and Charlene Gonzales. The character was created by the legendary Mars Ravelo way back in the 50s. Interestingly, Dyesebel made her debut on TV through Darna where she is personified by Ara Mina but it was Marian Rivera's portrayals made the character even more memorable.

Marinara (image above)is another notable pinoy mermaid played by Rufa Mae Quinto. She also played Amafura in Dyesebel. Now that two mermaid series is about to be released, i'm wondering if they will have the same impact with those mermaids listed above. Anne Curtis is set to play the role of Dyesebel and we'll see if she can manage to surpass the record made by Marian Rivera while Louise Delos Reyes will play two roles in Kambal Serena with her mermaid role known as Alona. Can she make it on our top five soon?

Throughout the movie, The Mask wears many different outfits but the one that marks the most is the yellow suit. It is also the same outfit shown in almost all of the VHS, DVD and Blu-ray Covers. It is also featured in most of its promotional posters. Interestingly, this outfit has never been featured in any of the comics released prior to the movie but what makes it more fascinating is the fact that this Banana-yellow suit is actually based on the suit which Jim Carrey's mother made for him for his first attempt at Stand up comedy.

"THE TRUTH BEHIND THE MASK OF LOKI "

In the movie, it is said that the mask was created by the God of mischief ~ Loki. The describe Loki as a night god which matches the Mask perfectly as it only works at night and stops with the dawning of the sun. However, the mythical story behind its creation appears to be open to interpretation resulting to an on going debate on how and when Loki created such mask. But as far as the real Norse Mythology is concerned, the Mask of Loki never existed.  First of all, the only god in Norse mythology possessing a mask was Odin but doesn't posses such power either. Secondly, The Mask's ability is way far different from Loki's special skills. Nothing in the mythology describes Loki as being able to pull objects from nowhere, nor the ability to warp reality to his will .

There are some rumors stating that this role was initially offered to Anna Nicole Smith. Believe it or not, but the last one to wear the Mask of Loki is no other than DCs most iconic villain ~ The Joker. Technically, Joker/Mask is the last comic series in relation with The Mask. It is basically a four issue crossover between the Mask and Batman. Joker found the Mask in the Gotham City Museum and wears it unintentionally.With its power the Joker begins to feel a new rejuvenation in his career of crime. Batman is able to trick the Joker into removing the Mask by claiming that the villain is no longer funny, and is relying on tired schtick and the power of the Mask instead of his own style. The series concluded showing Lt Kellaway retrieving the Mask from Batman and placing it on Stanley Ipkiss's grave , burrying it with Stan's corpse.

"THE REAL GENRE OF THE MASK"

Technically, The Mask film is categorized as a superhero fantasy action comedy but did you know that the film is originally intended as a dark and hard horror film? Yes, because this is actually the real behavior of the real Mask based on how he is depicted on the comics. In fact, did you know how Stanley Ipkiss died? In the comic series, Stanley Ipkiss died when his girlfriend shot him in the back after she deduced who Big Head (aka The Mask) was and tracked him down. (what a brutal way of death right?). On top of that, The Mask is really involved in numerous murderous crime but this is not even applied for the film (except for the film's unrelevant sequel ~ Son of the Mask). It is also interesting to note that due to the film's great success, the succeeding comic series in relevant with the Mask were somehow toned down in terms of violence.

The highly anticipated series of AMC is about to return for the last eight episodes. We are half way done indeed yet there are still many questions to be answered. The first half gave us a bunch of cliffhangers and I'm sure most fans are craving to see what's gonna happen next. After facing danger due to an unknown epidemic disease which killed many of the Woodburry survivors and after the epic battle between the Governor's team and those in the Prison, it seems like the group is facing another danger since the Prison loses its defenses and is now overrun by walkers. Listed below are five things that we are looking forward this midseason.

"THE NEXT HERSHEL"

We already knew on the first place that there is a big possibility for Hershel's character to die but we are not expecting that he will die in a very brutal way. Hershel's death is indeed one of the most tragic events that occurred in this season and this will surely leave a big impact to the rest of the remaining survivors. Losing the group's wisdom guy will definitely change everything and we are wondering who will be the next Hershel this season. As you see, there is always a wisdom guy in the group because after Dale was killed by the Walker, Hershel replaced him and now that he's gone, who do you think will take his place. Some rumors say that Beth is turning to be like his father and I guess that is something to look forward to.

"THE NEXT GOVERNOR"

Losing Hershel is truly heartbreaking but good thing we also lose the bad guy and yeah, that's the Governor. We've seen him at his worsts and finally it's over. Governor is probably the most iconic antagonist we have seen so far aside from the overwhelming and seemingly interminable amount of walkers. He is brutal and merciless and the one behind Hershel's death and the reason why Andrea gets killed. Oh well, he ended his role in a very extravagant way. He got killed by Michonne after stabbing him with her Katana and he was also killed by Lily even more. And now that he's gone, we're wondering who will follow his trails.

"THE RETURN OF CAROL"

One of the most unexpected scene in the series is when Carol revealed that she is the one behind Karen and David's death. She killed them both and burn them, hoping to stop them from spreading the disease. Rick, on the other hand, decided to exile her from the prison because he knew for the fact that Tyreese is not yet ready to accept the truth behind Karen's death. He also realized that Carol is no longer the same woman she met in Atlanta (Carol by the way is the only remaining female survivor from the original Atlanta survivors). After she was left, nothing was heard from her and that makes us wonder when will she return and what kind of Carol are we looking forward to.

"THE FATE OF BABY JUDITH"

In a place overrun by walkers, nothing can be more terrifying than seeing a fightless and weak baby suffers from such horrible death. Oh wait, we can't just jump on that conclusion yet because even if we saw a blood stain on Baby Judith's carrier, it doesn't mean she died. One of the things that we are looking forward this season is to see the fate of baby Judith. Is it a tragic death or Judith was rescued by one of the remaining survivors from the prison. Well, that is something we want to know.

"THE NEXT PLACE AFTER PRISON"

In Season 1, the series will focus on Atlanta and nearby areas. In Season 2, the series focused more on Hershel's Farm and in Season 3, the group found a new place in the Prison and now that the Prison is completely useless and defenseless, we're wondering what is the next location to be featured. Alexandria is another safe zone mentioned in the comics but we cannot tell yet if the group will be heading this way. Some rumors are telling us that the series will have a crossover with the video game which takes us to Macon. Oh well, I am so thrilled to find out.

Other things that we are looking forward as well includes the appearance of other notable characters from the comics including Abraham, The Hunters and more. We also want to find out who is feeding the zombies during their stay in the prison and what's next for Michonne after she killed the governor and why did she cried after carrying Baby Judith in one of the episodes.
