WHAT WAS YOUR BLOG ALL ABOUT REGINA ?
Well, my family is pretty big, and we are very close so I decided I would write about just random things that we do. Our ups and downs, our sadness and our joys! It's about sharing my life, my family and my faith with others
DO YOU HAVE ANY TARGET READERS FOR YOUR BLOG?
My blog is open enough to appeal to all readers! I don’t discriminate race, creed, color, or status. I have an equal opportunity blog! All are welcome!
WHAT WAS "REGINA'S FAMILY SEASON MEANT? AND HOW THIS BLOG STARTED?
The title “Regina’s Family Seasons” means just that, the seasons of our family life, and believe me we go through a lot of “seasons”! I got started blogging through a friend of mine who was amazed at the fact that my family does so many things together (with out killing each other!) and she thought I should write about it. I am actually in the beginning stages of writing a book but in the mean time the blog will do (It’s easier!)
YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT BLOGGER AND AT THE SAME TIME A GREAT MOM...HOW DO YOU MANAGE BOTH OF IT..(BEING A BLOG AUTHOR FOR YOUR BLOG AND BEING A MOM TO YOUR FAMILY) ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU HERE IN THE BLOGOSPHERE?
Juggling both is fairly easy for me because my children are older. My youngest child is 14 years old so I have more free time to blog compared to mothers who have babies at home. I totally commend those parents, because they have a much harder time, finding the free time to blog. But the key is effective time management and prioritizing. You have to find a time when your environment is quiet, maybe when the kids are sleep or in school. HOWEVER you must be careful to stay within your allotted blog time because it can consume you and the next thing you know. The kids are home, your husband/wife is home, no dinner is cooked, and you are still in your pajamas at the computer wondering where the time went!!
ONE THING I LIKE WITH YOUR BLOG WAS YOU ARE ALSO HAVING DIFFERENT PORTIONS LIKE THAT OLD SCHOOL MUSIC AND BLOG REVIEWS AND YOU ALSO LET OTHERS TO GIVE THEIR POINT OF VIEW UPON A CERTAIN TOPIC....AND IM WONDERING.. DO YOU FOLLOW A CERTAIN FORMAT TOO? AND HOW THIS CONCEPT STARTED?
Well, I don’t follow a format; I just like to try different things! My whole concept is Keep it Real and Keep it Interesting! I don’t like things to get old and boring, so to keep readers coming back I try different things to see what generates a better buzz for my blog. I’ve had guest bloggers (which I am starting again in September), I’ve had blog of the week, and of course my Old School Friday music meme. I like people to leave my blog thinking WOW, that was fun or that was interesting, I have to go back and see what she’ll do next!

First of all let me just say that I love your blogs and the Blog Idol was AWESOME!! That was very creative and the most fun to play and be involved in, thanks for the opportunity! I think the key to successful blogging is having good content on your blog. I try to write content that is interesting and sometimes controversial because controversial things generate a good dialogue and exchange of different types of comments and that keeps things interesting! I also always try to respond to all of my commenters. Most of my comments come straight to my email inbox so I respond to my commenters with a personal email. I like that personal touch!! I also visit the blogs who visit me!!
ANY ADDITIONAL WORDS FROM YOU REGINA?
I blog for the fun of it! Blogging is a great stress reliever. It brings out creativity, and great ideas. I like to let my thoughts be known, I like to exchange ideas and I also like to read others opinions on things BUT I really want everyone to know and understand that you can comment on a blog with respect even when you don’t agree with someone. So get to blogging and have fun with it!! Thanks for the interview opportunity Blue!! If my answers are too long feel free to cut them down a bit! Blessings Regina
