What Is Your Blog All About?	My blog is all about stuff that turns you off! I kid. It's about my life in general and a little bit of everything through my lens. :)
When And How did you start Blogging?	I started this blog in mid-2007. Ralph set up an account for me and suggested I blog as I really like to press buttons on a computer and I've always enjoyed writing. So I signed up and have been blogging and reading blogs since then and still enjoying it very much. Funny how addictive it can be, huh!
Blogs I Like (Characteristics)	I like blogs that are well-written in an honest voice, dynamic, interesting and somewhat like my own, that are maintained by positive thinking individuals. Oh, filling your blog with stunning pictures will make me spend an extra minute on your site too! :D
Blogs I Dislike (Characteristics)	I'm not a big fan of weird blogs. Reading blogs with no paragraphs, no line breaks, just a giant brick of words and clutter with too many advertisements and buttons feels like a chore. Also, I can't recall how many times I was interested in a post but gave up reading it because the colors and layout was too much for my poor eyes.
What Motivates you to Blog?	Passion is what motivates me and to see my readers coming back for more again and again after their initial visit is a real motivator. The interactions in the blogosphere and with readers keep me writing even when I go through blogging ‘dry spells’.
Who Are your Target Readers?	Readers from all walks of life.
What is Your Most Favorite post and Why?	Hmmm...Weird thing is that I don't actually have a favorite post. I love all my posts in general. :P
Things We Should Expect from your Blog these succeeding months	I will try to produce contents that add value to the lives of my readers.
Tips For Our Readers About Blogging	Don't expect success without promoting. Even if you've great content you'll need to work your butt off getting people to visit your blog and read it. Don't update your blog 20 times a day. You'll look desperate and lose your subscribers. Don't insult your readers by posting content that's full of errors, or has broken sentences. When writing your blog entries, think of what you would want to read on someone else’s blog and what would keep you coming back for more. :)

What Is Your Blog All About?	My blog is about anything under the sun. I can post whatever I want to post there.
When And How did you start Blogging?	I started blogging in September 2009. My cousin encouraged me to blog, she said that her manager earned much in blogging. "What's Up!?" is my very first site. I chose this title to show or introduce the latest in different fields, just like what is stated in the blog description on the header. Moreover, I wanted to develop my writing creativity because I wanted to be a professional writer in the future.
Blogs I Like (Characteristics)	I like informative, creative, entertaining, stimulating and artistic blogs. I also like travel and photoblogs(which I don't have).
Blogs I Dislike (Characteristics)	I don't like blogs that contain obscenity. We know that when we publish your blogposts, we already are accountable to several matters that we posted.
What Motivates you to Blog?	The reader's curiosity and enthusiasm motivate me to blog. I remember when I was a small boy, I was an inquisitive one. I often asked many questions to my mother, questions brought by curiosity of an innocent child because the world where he lives is new. I asked questions like "Is the moon as big as my thumbnail?", "What is inside a tooth?". Now, I share my knowledge and experiences to those people who are like me before.
Who Are your Target Readers?	My target reader is the general public. Since my blog is about anything that tickle anybody's interest, anyone can read it. In fact, I occasionally receive some feedbacks from students, professionals, fellow bloggers and older people that they enjoy reading my blog.
What is Your Most Favorite post and Why?	I have many favorite posts in my site. Few are: Writing is a Powerful Tool, Magboblog Din Kaya Si Rizal Kung Nabubuhay Siya Ngayon?,Killer Buses in EDSA.
Things We Should Expect from your Blog these succeeding months	Expect more from my blog. I became idle for almost 9 months last year and now that I'm back (with the vengeance...joke) and becoming more active in blogging, expect the unexpected hahaha!
Tips For Our Readers About Blogging	I just want to add the bloggers here. For bloggers, concentrate and give your best in blogging. Think everyday that you are the best blogger in the blogosphere. Be a credible writer because the whole world is reading you. For readers, be intelligent. Don't just believe in everything that you have read, instead, make some research. Digest everything you read and find facts about things that you are doubtful and that you want to believe in to.

What Is Your Blog All About?	Holidays, of corse, but also about everyday special and making the most of life.
When And How did you start Blogging?	I have been blogging for about a year and a half. I started my blog both as a way to inspire others and keep myself organized. I literally took my holiday calendar and turned it into the holiday challenge. I have since found that it has helped me to remember to take time for myself (which is no small task as a mom of three). It has also challenged me to develop my creativity to a level I never thought I could attain.
Blogs I Like (Characteristics)	I love blogs with lots of photos and beauty. Blogs that are thoughtfully written, with helpful ideas for everyday living.
Blogs I Dislike (Characteristics)	Ones that are mostly advertising or give-aways. While I do not mind the occasional ad or the like (after all most blogs are written by moms who would benefit from a little extra money) the blogs where most every post is an ad or give away I find hard to follow.
What Motivates you to Blog?	I love sharing ideas with others. When someone tells me that they used an idea and I inspired them to create a memory with there loved ones, there is no better reward than that! Plus in creating posts I have learned ways to add beauty to my own home, give hand made gifts, and make wonderful recipes. Remembering to take time for myself, I have found, also blesses my family.
Who Are your Target Readers?	Women, mostly moms, though I have readers with grown children. I have found that children love my blog too. (And I love that!)
What is Your Most Favorite post and Why?	What an amazing life' is probably my favorite post on Holiday Haven because it gives insight into who I am, and is probably the closest post I have to describing what I am working to accomplish with my site.
Things We Should Expect from your Blog these succeeding months	Father's day is coming up and I have lots of great ideas! Plus I will soon be sharing vacation ideas again.
Tips For Our Readers About Blogging	The single best traffic tip I can give is: name your photos! More than half of the traffic I get comes from google's image search. The best time management tip I can give is: instead of living your life to create a blog, use your website to keep you on schedule in your life.

What Is Your Blog All About?	As mentioned in the title, it's all about my every day adventures, including (but not limited to) events I attend, movies I've watched, foods I prepare or eat, places I visit, memories I recall, observations, thoughts, etc.
When And How did you start Blogging?	I published my first blog post in January 2006, but I made just one post and totally forgot about it. Then in 1999, I was jobless and had nothing to do, so I blogged, at first, just to document my wedding planning.
Blogs I Like (Characteristics)	Blogs with clean humor (that gets me hooked and laughing), blogs with interesting trivia, blogs with a personal tone, blogs with colors and font style/size which make it easy to read, blogs with photos every now and then, etc.
Blogs I Dislike (Characteristics)	Blogs with offensive words/photos or dirty humor, blogs with loud music, blogs with way too much ads (more ads than posts), blogs filled with too much complaints about everything, blogs with too much pop-ups or animation, etc.
What Motivates you to Blog?	At first, because I was jobless, I blogged because I wanted to earn a little something even though I was unemployed. Then, I blogged because I wanted to share what I'm doing for my wedding. Now, the additional motivations are the satisfaction, the inspiring support of readers who patronize my blog, and the opportunities to meet people and make new friends via my blog.
Who Are your Target Readers?	I don't really think about this, or about blogging for the purpose of attracting a specific group of people. I almost always think that I have to make my posts interesting so anybody who'd come across it would enjoy what they read. So maybe I can say my target is everyone, except spammers, stalkers, and all sorts of evil people. (lol!)
What is Your Most Favorite post and Why?	I don't have a particular favorite, but I like the funny posts I've made, and some creative DIY tutorial posts. I also like the posts that receive lots of positive, related comments, because it means that I have made my readers happy and well entertained.
Things We Should Expect from your Blog these succeeding months	I started 2011 with the resolution to make at least 20 posts on my blog each month. However, since March, I raised the bar and posted every day. I do hope I can maintain that (posting every day) and that I can keep on posting enjoyable articles.
Tips For Our Readers About Blogging	Be real, be yourself (even if that means posting a crazy photo of yourself, like I sometimes do). If you have a camera, always take it with you, because you'll never know when you'd encounter something worth blogging about. Show gratitude to those who patronize your blog by following their blogs too. And above all, have fun as you blog! :-)

What Motivates you to Blog?	My life, my love and family, my cats, my work, my travel stories and whatever that catches my attention! :)
Who Are your Target Readers?	Educated professionals, writers, students, housewives, those working from home and of course my own friends and family.
What is Your Most Favorite post and Why?	Ahhhhh my favourite post... I have a few posts that I am proud of but I am particularly fond of Love in Disarray. Why? Because it was the first post singled out to be featured on another site! :)
Things We Should Expect from your Blog these succeeding months	I have been suffering from 'blogger's block' as of late but knowing me and my passion to blog, you can bet there will be more interesting stories headed your way!
Tips For Our Readers About Blogging	1. NEVER start a blog with the sole intention of making money asap.. that's really not how it works. If you start a blog with this intention in mind, your blog will not have its own voice; your posts will then be motivated by money. The real you and your voice will not be visible and when your blog doesn't have your own personal voice or direction, that's when the readers become disinterested. Just saying!

INTERESTING BLOG OF THE MONTH ~ JANUARY 2011

Hi guys! Been away from this blog for almost a week for some reasons. I just switched to another Web hosting provider that's why i have to fix all my domain blogs again. It is like i am starting from scratch again. One more thing... please blame my absences to Facebook because i became so addicted to Cityville and Farmville lately sobs... Another one would be something to deal with my paid blogging jobs... i still have 26 more articles to do.. I have to finish them all first before the dead line ends..
Anyway... I am so happy to introduce our first Interesting Blog of the Month Awardee for this year!It's no other than Anney of "Blog ni Ako"

Please share us what is "Blog Ni Ako" All about?



My blog covers things I'm passionate about, things that interest me like cooking, baking, photography, food, travel, sewing, digital scrapbooking, family and life. Every so often I also post about doing fun things with kids, making fun snacks for them, basically making memories together and journaling about them.



When and how did you start blogging?





I started blogging in dec 2008. My sister who has been blogging for several years influenced me to start a blog. I needed a sort of creative outlet to share my passion so I thought I'd give blogging a try and loved it ever since.



You've been sharing a lot of great recipes , sweets and delicious pastries in your blog... Can you name us few of your most favorites?


I'm partial to Christmas treats so I can say I really loved and enjoyed making homemade Christmas Rocky Road (http://blogniako.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-rocky-road-and-assorted.html) and Gingerbread Christmas Tree Sandwich Cookies (http://blogniako.blogspot.com/2010/12/gingerbread-christmas-tree-sandwich.html). Aside from the Christmas treats, I can't forget the funny incident that happened when I made Witch's Finger Cookies ( http://blogniako.blogspot.com/2009/11/witchs-finger-cookies.html) They looked creepy enough for my little niece to have second thought about eating them. She thought they were alive and moving. lol! These are just some of my favorites.


You've been presenting them very creatively, are these just your hobby or you're also using them for business?



Definitely just a hobby! Though there were people suggesting I can turn my hobbies into a profitable business, I just couldn't. I'm sort of a busy person working 10 1/2 hours a day from Monday to Saturday and these hobbies have become a therapeutic outlet for me specially after a long day at work.



What are the things we have to expect from "Blog ni Ako" this year?


I plan to travel more this year so expect more travel photos. I have so many projects in mind but so little time to do them lol!
Let's just see what more will I be able to share on my blog this year.

Blogging has allowed me to connect with the world and meet wonderful friends. Whatever your reason for blogging might be, don't forget to develop great relationship with other bloggers. What is your blog all about?



It is all about the chapter in my life! What's i am up to ? What's on my mind? How do i feel? What's bothering me? It is just about ALMOST everything. That's why I named it as My Stories!

How and when did you started blogging?



That was back to 2007! Lol! A close friend of mine, Elaine (http://justme-elaine.blogspot.com/) who influenced me to start to blog. I found it great. However that was private blog and I decided to start a new public blog after 2 years. I am very happy and glad to know some wonderful friends through blogging world.

You have shared a lot of wonderful things in your blog, your experiences, your emotions, and some important events in your life, can you consider an entry on your blog in particular that is said to be your most favorite post of all? and why?


This is hard to choose. Lol! I love all of them except for those rantings I guess. The most special one as it is dedicated to all my blogger friends that I heart! Getting to know them is really a blessed! :D



What motivates you to blog?



Actually previously there's nothing really motivate me to blog. :) I just love to blog! Haha! :D But there's a thing, Merryn (http://submerryn.com/) said to me, All the posts that I've blogged will refresh my memories when someday I don't remember anything at all. I guess that's really motivated me more.



What are the things that we have to expect from Caroline and "My Stories these following months? How about plans for Christmas?



Ohmy! I don't think there's something to expect from me, except you interested to know about my life! hahaha! :D Though I hope in the future wonderful things more than rants in My Stories. ;)
Christmas plans? So far I don't have any yet. Me and my mom was the only two Christians in the family. My family celebrating Chinese New Year but of course we going to have a small celebration for this Christmas too! :D



Any words from Caroline and tips for our readers about blogging?



Well, I've gone through some hard time in blogging world. I'm still here, thanks to blogger friends and my readers who has been supporting me all this while too. Last but not least, Thanks Milton for featuring me this month! :D
