Rin Tohsaka is a model student and idol of ShirÅ's school and is secretly a Magus, and a Master in the Fifth Holy Grail War. Rin is a perceptive, serious, resourceful and very competitive person. Though she is widely-admired at school as an honor student, it is a front she puts up in order to prevent others from prying into her life. In private, she is notably stingy and bossy, but usually means well for those she cares about (a personality possesssed by most tsundere) Her perfect and coldhearted personality is probably taken from her father who was also a magus. It was later revealed too that Rin eventually fall in love with Shiro (one of the main character in the series)

Hitagi Senjougahara is the main female character of the Bakemonogatari. She is considered to be a frail-looking girl with an "incurable disease" and is distant towards others. She has a glamorous figure, although she is also considered as a "frail" girl due to her lack of participation in school activities. Hitagi possesses a sharp tongue and can be blunt while still maintaining a straight face when speaking to others. This trait of hers makes interacting with her a challenging task, if not impossible. In spite of this, she is sincere in everything that she says. Interestingly, She actually calls herself a tsundere and probably has some idea about otaku culture.

Misaka is a side character in Toaru Majutsu no Index and the main character of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. She is shown to have a complex regarding her chest, feeling inferior when compared to girls with bigger bust sizes. To most people, she is considered a 'proper lady' but in reality, she's short-tempered, prideful, and has an improper attitude with some slight tomboyish tendencies and insecurities, a fact few people know of. Despite this, she is generally friendly and easygoing. Often times she shows an incredibly childish, selfish, competitive side and even slight tsundere tendencies along with confused affections when taunted by her rival, Touma. To add to this, childishness, she has an inclination towards cute things, most specifically, Gekota and Kirugumar merchandise. She also likes frog merchandise only if it features Gekota. When she realizes that a stuffed animal another person is carrying is just a regular frog, she immediately loses all of her interest in the stuffed animal. A perfect classification of a tsundere personality indeed!

Shana is the main female character in Shakugan No Shana series. She is a Flame Haze, usually referred to by her title "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter". Initially, she is concentrated solely on her duty as a Flame Haze, not even considering getting a name as she didn't see any importance in having it. She sees Yuji only as a Torch, an object, albeit marginally interesting because of his status as a Mystes. However, she slowly opens up to Yuji, coming to think of him as a person despite being a Torch, and eventually comes to show affection to him.Shana has a habit of saying "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" ("Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!") whenever Yuji asks her questions or makes remarks that disturb her original worldview or embarrass her but in reality, they really care for each other. She has a great fondness for anything sweet, although melon bread is her favorite.

If there is one perfect example of tsundere in the universe of anime, Taiga Aisaka is definitely the one! Taiga is one of the protagonists of Tora Dora and is personally my favorite character (Tora Dora is such a great anime with a very impressive plot) She has a well-regulated and beautiful appearance though is unable to make much company with others. Due to often snapping at others in brutal ways and her short stature, she is given the nickname "Palmtop Tiger". Her under-developed body and the added nickname has given her a complex which in turn serves to give her a negative attitude and facial expression. Taiga gets upset easily and is considerably clumsy, most likely to overcompensation issues from having felt unloved and unimportant in her childhood. But she has a very strong tendency towards righteousness and her unfortunately-violent outbursts are usually well-motivated. She can be very nice when she wants to be, but can triumph all. She has snappy, quick comebacks. Her classmates consider her to be very pretty and she often gets confessions by boys her age, but she has turned down every one of them. In spite of this very strong personality, he has a soft side and loves Kitamura as well..
